What's free and what uses AI edits

Short answer
Editing text and photos yourself, the menu, colors, SEO, undo and publishing are always free. Requests to the AI (chat, AI rewrite, new pages, AI photos) use a monthly AI-edit allowance; when it runs out you can add credits. Full regenerations have their own monthly count.

Typing text with Visual edits, uploading and replacing photos, moving sections, the menu and Announcement bar (Brand & Navigation), colors and fonts (Design), SEO & Meta, Settings, deleting a page, undo, Versions, Backups and publishing.
2Uses your AI-edit allowance
Anything the AI writes or draws for you: chat requests, the AI menu on selected text, + Add section, Create page, Generate with AI… and Edit this photo with AI. Your plan includes a monthly allowance, shown on your Overview page under AI credit.
3When the allowance runs out
The chat says You've used your monthly AI-edit allowance and your credit balance is empty. Add credits to keep editing. Click Add credits to top up, or wait for next month. Everything in the free list keeps working.
4Regenerations are counted separately
Regenerate rebuilds the whole site from scratch. Each site gets a set number per month, shown on the button as used/available (for example 1/5). Small changes don't need a regeneration; use the chat or Visual edits.
