This Cookie Policy explains how SOSEI uses cookies and similar technologies on sosei.site. Sites rebuilt and hosted by SOSEI for customers ship with their own cookie banner and consent configuration; this policy covers the SOSEI product website and dashboard only.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They let a site recognize your device, remember preferences, and understand how the site is used. Similar technologies such as localStorage work the same way for this policy.

Categories We Use

  • Strictly necessary — sign-in, session, CSRF, and security. These cannot be disabled; without them the Service does not work.
  • Preferences — remember UI choices such as dashboard view mode. Not used for tracking.
  • Analytics (optional, consent-based) — privacy- friendly, aggregated product analytics to help us improve SOSEI. Loaded only after you accept.
  • Marketing (optional, consent-based) — the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and its server-side Conversions API, used to measure the performance of our advertising (for example, when a visitor completes our free website audit). These set Meta cookies (_fbp, _fbc) and share limited technical data (your IP address and browser user-agent) with Meta Platforms, Inc. Loaded only after you choose Accept all.

Analytics and marketing cookies never load unless you choose Accept all. Choose Only necessary to decline them, or withdraw consent at any time by clearing site data. We do not use these cookies to sell your personal data.

Managing Consent

Where required by law we show a consent banner before loading optional cookies. You can change your decision at any time by clearing site data in your browser or via the settings link in the footer. You can also block cookies in your browser settings — strictly-necessary cookies may still be set as these are required for the Service.

Cookies on Hosted Customer Sites

Every site SOSEI generates and hosts includes a GDPR-aligned cookie banner. Tracking scripts detected on the source site (Google Analytics, GTM, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, LinkedIn Insight, Plausible, Umami, Clarity, TikTok Pixel, etc.) are preserved and gated behind user consent. Visitors to those sites should refer to that individual site's cookie and privacy notice.

We may update this Cookie Policy as our tooling changes. The effective date at the top of the page always reflects the latest version.
