Everything people ask before handing over a website, including the awkward ones about what happens if you cancel.

Not covered here? Ask a humanWhat if I already have a website?
Most of our customers started there. We rebuild from your existing site — give us the URL and we extract every page, image, logo, color, and brand signal. You get a modern site that says the same things, just in a way Google, ChatGPT, and humans actually understand. Your old site stays live until you point your domain at the new one.
How long does a transformation take?
A Fast rebuild takes about a minute. A Best rebuild — higher-quality design and copy — takes about three minutes. You can regenerate up to 5 versions per month, and refine any section just by chatting with the editor, on a monthly edit allowance.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — every account starts with a 14-day free trial, and no credit card is required. The clock only starts when you generate your first site, so there's no pressure before you're ready. The trial is the full product: rebuilds, the chat editor for plain-language edits, hosting on a secure connection, and your own domain. When it ends, keep everything live by subscribing from your dashboard — cancel anytime.
Will my content and brand survive?
Yes. We read up to your 15 most-important pages and pull across your content, images, logo, colours and tone of voice — even reading your logo to pick up your exact brand colours. Your images are copied onto our hosting (so nothing breaks if your old site goes away). Every rebuild is saved as a version: regenerate up to 5 times a month, restore any earlier version with one click, and only the version you mark Live is what visitors see.
What about my analytics and tracking?
We automatically detect Google Analytics, GTM, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, LinkedIn Insight, TikTok Pixel, Plausible, Umami, and Microsoft Clarity — and preserve them in the new site, properly gated behind cookie consent — nothing fires until the visitor accepts.
Is this really GDPR compliant?
Every site ships with a cookie consent banner, auto-generated privacy policy, cookie policy, terms of service, impressum, and accessibility statement — all in your site's language. Fonts are self-hosted (no Google Fonts), so no third-party request is made before consent, and tracking scripts only fire after the visitor accepts. That covers the website side. Full GDPR compliance also depends on how your business handles the data you collect — what you store, which tools you connect, and how you answer data requests — so treat this as a compliant starting point, not legal advice.
What does "AI-ready" actually mean? How is it different from SEO?
Search is splitting in two. Classic SEO gets you ranked on Google. "AI-ready" means your site is also built for AI search — so when someone asks ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google's AI, Gemini or Apple Intelligence about a business like yours, your site can be found and recommended. That takes two things: making your site easy for AI to read and understand, and laying your pages out so the AI quotes you in its answer. Every site we build does all of it, and our free check scores your Google search and your AI search separately, so you can see exactly where you stand.
Isn't being on Google enough any more?
Not for much longer. A growing share of people now get their answer straight from ChatGPT or Google's AI summary, without clicking a single link. If your site isn't built for that, you're invisible to them — even if you rank well on classic Google. SOSEI builds for both, so you don't have to choose.
Do I need to host the site separately?
No. Hosting on a secure (https) connection is included — you get a public link the moment your site is built. Want to use your own domain? We set up the security certificate for you automatically; you just add a couple of records at your domain provider (GoDaddy, Zone.ee, Namecheap, Hostinger — they all work). We handle the technical part.
Who owns my domain, content, and site?
You do. Your domain stays registered in your own name at your own provider (GoDaddy, Zone.ee, Namecheap, Hostinger…) — we never take it over. You point a couple of DNS records at us, and you can point them somewhere else at any time; nothing about your domain passes to us. Your content, images, logo and brand are yours too — we rebuild what's already yours, we don't take a claim on it. What the subscription pays for is the work: hosting the rebuilt site on a secure connection and keeping it current as Google, AI crawlers and privacy rules change — so you never face a costly redesign every 18 months.
What happens if I cancel? Am I locked in?
Your domain is always yours — it never leaves your name, so you can point it at any other host whenever you like. There's no long contract: the trial needs no card and you cancel from your dashboard in one click. Being straight with you: SOSEI is a hosted subscription, not a one-time code handover — so if you cancel, the SOSEI-hosted site goes offline the way any hosting does when you stop paying, while your domain (and, if we rebuilt from an existing site, that original) stays untouched and yours. The value isn't a file you download once; it's that we keep hosting and updating the site so it stays ahead — that's what stops working when you leave, and nothing you owned before is affected.
Can I edit the result?
Yes — the dashboard ships with a chat-based AI editor that rewrites sections, the global header, the global footer, or brand tokens (colors, fonts, radius). It can also generate new images on demand (up to 3 per turn, 50 per project). Full regenerations are capped at 5 per month, per domain; chat edits run on a monthly AI-edit allowance, with credit top-ups beyond it.
Will my site look like every other AI-built site?
No — and that's the whole point. SOSEI doesn't pour your content into a fixed template. For every site the AI authors the layout, sections and styling from scratch, tuned to your industry (detected from a 161-entry catalog), your brand colours and fonts, and your actual content. Two businesses in the same field come out looking distinctly their own, not like siblings from the same builder. Don't love the first result? Regenerate for a completely different direction, or ask the chat editor for exact changes.
What if I don't like the design?
Two options. Hit regenerate for a whole new direction (up to 5 per month) — the planner detects your industry from a 161-entry catalog and tunes palette, fonts, and tone accordingly. Or open the chat editor and ask for targeted changes — section copy, header, footer, brand colors, fonts — within your monthly AI-edit allowance.
Does it work for any platform (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace)?
Yes. We crawl any public website — WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, custom HTML, anything. Just give us the URL.
Do you rebuild Shopify, WooCommerce, or other online stores?
The free audit works on any store — we'll check how you show up on Google and AI search, how you work on phones, your privacy setup and your speed, just like any other site. The full online-store rebuild (catalogue, cart, checkout, payments) is in active development and ships soon. Run your store through the free audit today, and create an account to be first in line when the full store rebuild opens.
What's the difference between plans?
Personal is for one website owner. Agency is for professionals managing multiple client sites, with white-label delivery and priority processing. Enterprise is for hosting providers and resellers with custom volume pricing and API access.
