What is SOSEI?
SOSEI is a subscription service that rebuilds an outdated website into a modern one. You submit your website address, SOSEI audits it against 40 checks in seconds, and returns a rebuilt multi-page site in about 1–3 minutes — hosted, and kept current as search engines, AI crawlers and privacy rules change.
- What does SOSEI cost?
- SOSEI starts at $13.90 per month per site, billed as a subscription that covers the rebuild, hosting and ongoing updates. There is no one-time build fee and no long-term contract.
- Is there a free trial?
- Yes — SOSEI includes a 14-day free trial and no credit card is required to start. Your first 40-point audit runs without an account at all; rebuilding a site needs a free account.
- How long does a rebuild take?
- A SOSEI rebuild takes about 1–3 minutes from submitting a URL to a live, hosted site. The free audit returns in seconds.
- What do you actually get?
- Each rebuild is a complete site of up to 7 content pages plus generated privacy, terms, cookie and accessibility pages, a sitemap, robots.txt and an llms.txt for AI crawlers. Edits are made by chatting in plain language, not by learning a page builder.
- How is it different from a website builder?
- A website builder gives you an empty canvas and leaves the work to you. SOSEI starts from your existing site, migrates the content, and ships the rebuild — then keeps maintaining it, so the site does not need a costly redesign every 18 months.
- What is built in on every site?
- Every SOSEI site ships with a consent banner before any tracking fires, self-hosted fonts instead of third-party CDNs, WCAG 2.1 AA as the build standard with contrast enforced by the renderer, and structured data for AI answer engines.
